A place to scheme, create, collaborate and debate in service on co-creating positive futures.
Prototype projects, organize an event, hang with a friend, have a meeting, jam at a whiteboard, play music, deploy a demo, facilitate a delicate conversation, try collaborative finance, constitute and engage a civic sphere.
How it Works
Our space is designed to engage with and be in service of a wider public.
Membership does not gate access to the space, but facilitates its use by a broad community with shared interests in reckoning with positive futures.
It can be difficult to find space to hold community-centric activities. Free and for-purpose activities often get pushed into informal spaces (*no shade on informal spaces! But... ) this can limit the size, scope, and sustainability of those activities.
By coming together to manage the space, we create a platform in service of shared goals— and get to support and have fun with each other along the way.

Membership is required to host events. Members are onboarded to member platforms and invited to attain badges and join teams (see below).
Members attain credentials related to managing different aspects of the space,
When events are held, members who have the relevant badges can choose whether to DIY the hosting or pay member rates for services such as baristas, bartenders, catering, setup, AV, strike, door attendants, etc. (or a combination of both).
Members with the relevant credentials can also support one another by working together to host larger events.
For those interested in getting more involved, we have teams focused on art curation, event production, programming,
cafe, membership, finance, the technosphere, and brand/social media.

That's ok too. Stop by during open hours. Grab something at the cafe, hang out for a while and you just might get roped into an interesting conversation.
